Title says it all.  Below is the new end boss in Street Fighter 4 and Bison/Vega:

Judging from Bison’s expression on his face, he’s enjoying himself.

Not sure if this one’s made the rounds yet but I found it to be a good giggle.

O brother, where art thou?

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , on August 16, 2008 by Andy Yu

I’m sure I’ve told a few of you folks about my brother’s travel exploits before, like the time where he went away to Spain or Greece (I forget), ran out of money, and had to fly home early to escort his buddy who’d been bottled in a bar brawl.

Well, it’s happened all over again.  He flew out to Thailand about a week and a half ago and just three or four days later, his and his friend’s room were broken into and their bags were stolen.  In his bag were ALL of his travel documents.  Yep, you read that right; he’s lost his passport and return ticket home.  The fool phones me up asking me to double check his insurance policy for him, to which I tell him he’s a fool because the insurance company can’t do anything for him right now, they can only reimburse him for his expenses once he returns.  I told him that he would have to contact the British embassy and British consular to sort him out with a temporary replacement passport.  This would have been much easier had he have been staying in Bangkok but no, he’s out in Koh Samui, one of the islands on the coast.

Most would think that’s the end of this dilemma, but there’s more.  I received a Facebook message from the court jester a few days ago where he tells me that he’s broken his phone; lord knows how he gets into these situations?  I haven’t heard from him since…

I am sooo never gonna let him get over this one!

I have become my brother

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , on May 25, 2008 by Andy Yu

My brother loves his American teen dramas and I’ve managed to avoid the majority of them for most of my life. I’m rather embarrassed (spelt it correctly there!) that tonight, I actually started watching one which he has yet to get into himself. Oh, the humanity!

The show in question is called Greek and airs on BBC3 on Sundays. It’s about a somewhat socially inept guy who attends a university and decides to become part of a fraternity. He already has a sister who attends said uni and is already very successful on the sorority circuit. He sees things he shouldn’t and creates a bit of a reputation for himself and winds up being accepted into what is the party-boy fraternity. It’s pretty damn funny and has its fill of drama and as much as it pains me, it’s one to look out for!

Surprise visit

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , on March 16, 2008 by Andy Yu

Good old Nova decided to pay me a surprise visit today since he was passing through Brum. We had a coffee and some snacks and decided to cruise the Bullring to kill some time, whilst catching up. It’s always nice to see Alan; the last time was before I left Aber 8 months ago!

Totally unrelated but everybody was making a fuss over my driving license photo in the office yesterday.  It’s the photo of me with long hair which serves as my party trick at the moment – always guaranteed to get a kick out of everybody.

I was in the fair city of Worcester yesterday for a meeting with one of Volkswagen’s marketing partners when I saw this on my way to the office:

How creative!
